Mud's Done! New (Temporary!) Schedule! by TuxedoDemon
February 18th, 2017
I'm an illustrator and comic book artist by profession, which means people pay me to draw a thing, and then I do that thing.

One of the things I get paid to do is a comic book called Tinker. And the way that works is, I'm given a script, and then I draw whatever it is that script tells me it is I should be drawing.

What does that have to do with the title of this blog post?

Well, I have a Tinker script that's been sitting out for a little while now, and I really need to draw it.

I cannot do two comic books at the same time. I've tried. It doesn't work. Both projects end up suffering in quality as a result when I try to juggle them, and I just don't want any of that. I'm tired of doing bad work. It's why the original Mud was so bad, it's why I had this massive update drought midway through working on Tooth. It's ridiculous. Two books at the same time doesn't work.

So I gotta drop DNA for a little while.

That said, I do already have a small buffer of pages, so I'm not going completely dead.

Segment: Blood will begin on Monday, March 6th, and update every other Monday going forward.

So that's about two updates per month.

I'm still going to be working on Blood here and there (because I need to; it's what my Patrons pay me for) but it's not going to be anything like what I've been doing lately. So Patreon updates are going to slow quite a bit, too.

I'm also moving in less than a week, haha. I'm super busy right now.

So, to summarize:
-My Real Job needs my attention.
-Because my Real Job needs my attention, I'm cutting DNA updates down to two per month.
-Blood starts on March 6th, and will update on every other Monday going forward, until my Real Job is done.

That's it! Thanks for understanding, and thanks for reading!
